As Seen On
More than 70 Years of Traditional Glutinous Rice Balls and Peanut Soup.
We had our humble beginnings as a simple pushcart stall along Jalan Sultan more than 70 years ago. Life wasn't easy for Mr. Aw Kim Chye back then, selling handmade Ah Ballings with Peanut Soup in the streets everyday.
As the business passed on to the Second Generation, our menu selection expanded, introducing new flavors such as the well-loved Black Sesame and the spicy Ginger Soup.
Now, the business is in the reins of the Third Generation. We are proud to continue the heritage of quality, delicious Ah Balling in Peanut Soup for many years to come.
WHY 75 AH BALLING PEANUT SOUP?
Ah Balling means Glutinous Rice Balls, traditionally eaten during the Lantern Festival or Winter Solstice.
As for the 75 in our brand name, this number holds a special significance for us.
1975 was the year when we transited from a streetside stall to where we are now at Golden Mile Food Centre. Coincidentally, it is also our stall number, #01-75.
Ah Balling in Peanut Soup is our signature item and the recipe to make it has not changed, even after so many years. Thus, you can be sure that ours is an authentic traditional taste.
